ACE FEST - American Cinematic Experience Film Festival este un festival de film gazduit de orasul New York.
Primul Acefest s-a tinut in anul 2007 si a inregistrat un real succes drept care se continua mentinerea acestui festival in fiecare an.
Spre deosebire de celelalte festivaluri de filme din America, acesta sustine in principal scurtmetrajele, desenele animate si filmele independente.
Filmul independent este acel film care nu este produs de un studio cu renume. Totodata ca un film sa fie independet trebuie ca mai putin sau jumatate din bugetul alocat filmului sa nu fie primit de la un studio cu renume.
Ca orice festival de orice gen trebuie sa existe si un juriu care sa decida care film este mai bun, cine merita locul 1 si cine merita locurile mai de la coada. Asadar ca pe jurati ii avem pe
